Waterman Refrigeration has been established for over 70 years – but it wasn’t always known as Waterman Refrigeration. In its early days, Waterman Refrigeration was known as Chapman Refrigeration, located in Sydney with a factory located in Newcastle. The Newcastle factory was bought out by a former sheet metal worker who started his career in the factory of Chapman Refrigeration – Ken Waterman in 1977.

Waterman Refrigeration thrived in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions, specialising in the niche market of custom refrigeration. All Waterman projects are produced locally out of our Cameron Park factory, with qualified sheet metal workers and even an onsite laser cutter to make custom-shaped stainless steel pieces.
